“Be a science guy, be awesome!”

On Friday, March 30, 2018 Insan Cendekia Madani held another event involving students’ ability of doing research and public speaking. This event is called Science and Social Fair. Science and Social Fair is an exhibition which presents 11th grader best research from the program. The best 58 people who got score more than 85 made a booth based on their research. Every single booth is unique and has their own creativity poured on it.

Other than that, there is a seminar by The NanoTech Research Team from University of Indonesia. There are 3 persons who came, Kak Ihsan Elwan as the President of NanoTech Research, Kak Mudzaitah as the Sir of Research and Technology and don’t forget Kak Fatih as The Head of NanoTech Research.

They thought this very event was great. They feel like this event is rarely held by schools in Indonesia. Science and Social Fair is a very positive program to have because it sharpen the thinking of the students at this age. Well, they were amazed how 11th grader can actually think to look at the problem happening between them and then look for the solution. And even better, the solution is realistically served.

They also shared their experience of being a researcher. They said, to be one, we’re required to had innovative ideas. They also said that as a student, they need to be useful for the others, so they need to make things that is useful for the environment. Being a researcher, even though sounds difficult, is actually a lot of fun.

“We can get a lot of information, even from the failure. Better, when we’re success, we can prove the rights.” They said.

They left a message for future researchers too! These amazing people said, if you find problems in some situation, seek for the solution together. Think it, discuss it, and find the answers together. And, remember, don’t make a research without a clear purpose! Because everything we research about needs to have benefit on it.
